Ruby Gromek
Director of Peer Support Operations
Ruby serves as Untethered Recovery's Director and Supervisor of Coaching Services, where she leads and mentors the organization's peer coaching team while helping individuals and families navigate recovery, re-entry, and reunification. As a Qualified Behavioral Health Assistant (QBHA) and Family Peer Specialist, Ruby combines professional expertise with powerful lived experience to provide authentic support, advocacy, and guidance to those facing some of life's most difficult challenges.
Ruby's work is deeply rooted in her own recovery journey and her belief that meaningful change is possible for everyone. She is passionate about helping individuals rebuild their lives, strengthen family relationships, and create lasting foundations for success. Her lived experience allows her to connect with clients in a genuine and relatable way while providing hope that recovery and personal transformation are achievable.
In addition to overseeing peer coaching services, Ruby supervises Untethered Recovery's sober living program, where she focuses on helping residents achieve total life transformation. She works closely with individuals to support family reunification efforts, connect them with educational opportunities, develop workforce skills, and navigate the challenges of re-entry and involvement with the legal system. Her goal is to ensure every client has access to the tools, resources, and support needed to build a stable and meaningful future.
Ruby is equally passionate about developing future peer specialists. She takes pride in mentoring and supporting her coaching team, helping them grow into effective, ethical, and impactful recovery professionals capable of providing the highest level of care to those they serve.
