Sloan Caster, CAT, QBHA
Director of DWAI/DUI Program / Clinical Case Manager
As the Director of Untethered Recovery's DWAI/DUI Program and a Clinical Case Manager, Sloan is passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate early recovery, legal system involvement, and major life transitions. Her clinical approach molded by both professional training and personal lived experience, allowing her to connect with clients with authenticity and compassion.
In addition to facilitating Untethered Recovery’s DWAI/DUI Education and Therapy, Sloan leads therapeutic groups often incorporating mindfulness, meditation, life skills development, and experiential activities. She especially enjoys helping clients step outside their comfort zones—she loves encouraging those who believe they are “not creative” to discover confidence and healing through therapeutic art and self-expression.
Outside of work, Sloan enjoys creative art projects, planning her next international travel adventure, volunteering at Denver Women’s Correctional Facility’s Re-Entry unit, and facilitating “Creative Recovery,” a therapeutic art group for female residents. She is a Certified Addiction Technician (CAT), Certified DUI Education and Therapy Facilitator, Qualified Behavioral Health Assistant (QBHA), and Qualified Medication Administration Person (QMAP). Sloan is currently pursuing her Bachelors of Social Work at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Whether facilitating groups or meeting with clients, Sloan is often accompanied by her dog, Courage. A familiar face around the office, Courage has become a favorite among many clients and takes his responsibilities as morale officer very seriously.
